Hamilton (“the app”) is a read-only health data dashboard for Android.
Hamilton reads health and fitness data from Android Health Connect on your device. This covers the data types you explicitly grant it permission to read, which may include steps, distance, calories, weight, body fat, lean mass, bone mass, body water mass, heart rate, resting heart rate, heart rate variability, blood oxygen, blood pressure, respiratory rate, body temperature, skin temperature, sleep, workouts, nutrition, hydration and similar fitness and wellbeing metrics.
Hamilton reads only the data types you have granted, and accesses them solely to display them to you within the app. You choose which permissions to grant, and you can change or withdraw them at any time in Health Connect.
Nothing. Hamilton displays your health metrics on screen and caches them locally on your device for performance. That is the full extent of what Hamilton does with your data.
Hamilton does not:
Health data is cached in a local database on your device to reduce the number of Health Connect queries needed. This cache is stored in the app’s private storage, which no other app can read, and it never leaves your device.
Hamilton’s developer does not receive, store or retain any of your data. Hamilton has no servers, no backend and no internet permission, so no copy of your information exists anywhere outside your own phone, and no developer-side retention period applies.
On your device, Hamilton’s local cache is retained only for as long as you keep the app installed and its Health Connect permissions granted. Specifically:
Hamilton keeps only a rolling local copy of data that already exists in Health Connect on your device. It is a cache, not an archive — deleting it never affects the original data held by Health Connect or by the apps that recorded it.
There is no data deletion request process, because there is no data to request the deletion of. Hamilton never transmits your information anywhere, so the developer holds nothing about you and cannot delete anything on your behalf. You have complete and direct control over everything Hamilton stores, and you can delete it at any time using any of the following methods:
None of these actions delete the original records held in Health Connect or in the apps that wrote them — to remove those, use the Health Connect app directly.

Hamilton shares no data with any third party. Hamilton has no mechanism to share data — it has no internet permission and no export functionality that sends data off-device.
You can revoke Hamilton’s Health Connect permissions at any time through Android Settings or the Health Connect app. You can also toggle individual metrics on or off within Hamilton’s settings. To delete data Hamilton has stored, see “Data Deletion” above.
If you grant “Allow reading data in the background” in Health Connect, Hamilton periodically (roughly once per hour) reads your latest health data while the app is closed and stores it in the app’s local cache on your device, so your dashboard is up to date when you open it. Hamilton posts a notification each time this happens, though your phone may not display it if Do Not Disturb or a similar mode is active. This data is processed and stored only on your device — Hamilton has no internet access and never transmits your data anywhere. You can revoke this permission at any time in Health Connect settings, which stops all background reading.
Hamilton does not knowingly collect data from children under 13. The app has no account system and no way to identify any user’s age.
